Cell-Level Anti-Aging: Activate Mitochondrial Energy Production

Oxidative stress weakens mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP), sapping cellular energy and accelerating skin aging.
Here, we use the JC-10 fluorescent probe to visualize MMP in skin cells (HaCaT):      Red fluorescence = High MMP (robust energy production)      Green fluorescence = Low MMP (energy depletion) In the H₂O₂-treated model group, we observed minimal red and predominantly green fluorescence, indicating that H₂O₂ significantly impairs mitochondrial membrane potential.
